Ach… I really want to be able to discuss what I plan to do with my life with someone. Every time I try to have a “serious talk” w/ the parents, they end up saying “not now, let’s talk later. I’m tired and I don’t want to think about it.”…
Well after the first five or six times they answer that way I start to get the impression that they really don’t want to talk about it at all…
I don’t get it. Don’t most parents WANT to know that I have a plan for when I finish college and my worries about that? Aren’t they supposed to want to help me work through my issues BEFORE I leave home?

Trying something new today- I drew the body, then shaded it before I even got to the add-clothes part. It was really great practice! I can totally tell a difference in my works now from my work before I took a painting class.
Fun sketchy doodle thing. It’s scratchy, but I’m trying to work on letting my sketches just be sketches lately, so that’s a good thing!
